John Bartlett Stepping Down as Host of Dog Save The People

About The Episode

After nearly five years of hosting the Dog Save People Podcast, our dear John Bartlett will passing the mic to a new show host in the new year.

John recently took on a new teaching role at the Parsons School Design, where he will lead fashion executive education programs. He will be traveling internationally and have more obligations that will keep him busy as he ramps up in his new role.

We're happy to see him take this new career step. It's been a privilege for us to have John leading conversations on the show for all these years, speaking to over 150 guests.

In this announcement, John shares his appreciation for the meaningful conversations fellow dog parents shared with him on the show.

We part with a mutual respect always – we loved having John part of the show, and he loved hosting it.

We will have someone new behind the mic in 2024 with an announcement on the way.

In the meantime, we are excited to announce a new series about Dog Parks coming out early next year. The show will look at the history of where dog parks have been, how they might evolve, and what they represent for our shared future.

The dog park series will be hosted by writer Jenna Blum, a former guest on Dog Save The People and author of Woodrow on the Bench.

And so for John and the Dog Save The People podcast, there will be a new chapters ahead!
