Dr. Sharon Holland is a Professor who teaches a course in animal studies at UNC Chapel Hill, where her lifelong journey with dogs and other animals have informed her intimate and unique perspective. Through a queer, black, and feminist lens, Sharon explores how the way we connect to the other species on our planet can help us better connect to our own humanity.
